Safety, Training & Compliance

Safety and compliance are our top priorities. All plant equipment is thoroughly inspected before delivery, and our operators hold certifications including CPCS, CSCS, DBS.

They are also NRSWA Street Works qualified for highway projects and fully trained in first aid, site safety, and manual handling.

With strong in-house expertise in CDM Regulations 2015 and RAMS preparation, we consistently meet the highest standards expected by public bodies and contractors alike.

Where we work

We cover all areas of North Yorkshire and offer nationwide service upon request. Our team has successfully completed projects across the country — from Army Barracks in Catterick Garrison, to developments in Sheffield, and a major prison project in Rochdale.

Public Sector

At M J Ramsay & Partners, we take compliance and professionalism seriously. Our operators are fully qualified, with up-to-date Street Works certification, and are DBS checked. Our team includes trained first aiders, SSSTS and MS-certified supervisors, and CSCS/CITB-accredited operatives, ensuring we meet the highest safety and competency standards on every site.

We understand what’s expected on public works — clear paperwork, reliable machinery, punctual delivery, and professional service from start to finish. All our licences and permits are fully up to date, including authorisation to work on highways.
